Love Park Slope, but tiny tiny tiny

I moved in last month. I love my neighborhood, as I am right by the Barclays center. My apartment looks new and I have a dishwasher and in-unit laundry. However, it is TINY TINY TINY for the price. I am not mad about my tradeoff decisions, however.

Convenient spot in park slope

Pretty good building for NYC rentals! Our apartmebt is recently removated and the appliances are good. Nice high ceilings and a good amount of natural light. Not any major pest issues. No noise from the Barclays center even though youre so close to it.

Akelius property malfunction again

We experienced Akelius property malfunction again in weekend. I was roused from sleep around 2 AM on Saturday morning by my son’s crying. My son and I were sleeping on the same bed and the bed was totally wet on his side. I found my 8-month-old son was lying on the wet sheet and crying and the COLD leaking water from the edge of the ceiling lamp holder directly dropped on my son’s sleeping bag!!! It is completely unbelievable these things happened.! Our mattress is completely destroyed and our bedroom is totally unusable. But Akelius still claimed that they are NOT responsible for our loss although it was caused by malfunction of Akelius’ property!!!
